In Transcarpathia, fires killed 2 people

On January 1, at 9:45, the Rescue Service received a report of a fire in a private house on Beregivska street in Mukachevo. To eliminate the fire, crews of the 17th and 19th state fire and rescue units were sent at the scene. In total, 12 rescuers and 3 fire engines. When fighting a fire, firefighters found in a room the body of a man with no signs of life. It was the owner of the house born in 1960. At 10:35, the fire was contained, and completely eliminated at 12:08. The fire destroyed the roof and the ceiling throughout the area.

The second fire with tragic consequences occurred on Myr street in the village of Ruska Mokra in Tyachiv district. Firefighters received the report at 17:30 on January 1. Crews of state fire and rescue posts of the villages of Dubove and Ust-Chorna were immediately sent at the scene. In total, 8 rescuers and 2 fire vehicles. Firefighters contained the fire at 18:10, and completely eliminated it at 18:45. During fire suppression, the body of a woman born in 1962 was found. The fire destroyed the wooden house. 

Causes of fires and amount of losses are to be established.
