On May 22, at 8:54 a.m., the Rescue Service received a report that a dog had been trapped in the attic of the Irshava District Veterinary Hospital for three days.
The animal somehow got into the attic and could not get out there due to the considerable height. She was very nervous because her puppies were downstairs. Veterinary hospital staff were feeding the puppies and the dog, but could not bring her down from the attic. Then they turned to rescuers for help.
Crew of the 5th state fire and rescue unit was sent at the scene. After assessing the situation, rescuers climbed up to the attic and tried to calm the animal down. Then they brought her down the ladder and took her to the puppies. Fortunately, the dog was not injured in the attic and her life is not in danger.
