In Transcarpathia, children of the killed ATO participants will study at universities for free

Members of the Transcarpathian Regional Council today made changes to the program of the regional higher education development in 2013 – 2017.

The deputies decided to support the families of the fallen heroes. Thus, the section "Privileges" granted to students for the academic year in the amount of one hundred percent of the sum stipulated in the contract until graduation for: students, who are orphans and children deprived of parental care; persons who have lost both parents and entered a higher education institution at the age of under 23 years old", was expended with "students, whose parents (one of the parents) were killed while participating in the anti-terrorist operation, protecting the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, or died as a result of injury, concussion or wounds received in the areas of the anti-terrorist operation."

The program will be funded from the regional budget.
