In Transcarpathia, border guards interfered with the plans of smugglers

Last night, border guards of the department "Luzhanka" of the Mukachevo Detachment prevented another attempt of cigarette smuggling.

While patrolling the state border, border guard patrol detected tracks and a damage in the fence. During further search, 50 meters to the state border, border guards also found five packages of tobacco products. It is likely that the offenders were accumulating tobacco products to subsequently smuggle them to neighboring Hungary.

The found packages containing almost 3,000 packs of cigarettes "Compliment" were delivered to the department of the Border Guard Service "Luzhanka." Currently, the range of persons involved in the smuggling of cigarettes across the border is being established.
