Officers of the State Border Service in cooperation with interacting law enforcement agencies are actively working to detect offenses at the state border, including smuggling of tobacco products.
During the joint activities, border guards of the Mukachevo detachment stopped near the border a car "Volkswagen" with Bulgarian registration plates driven by a citizen of Ukraine. During the check, the inspection team found in the luggage compartment of the car one thousand packs of cigarettes "Marshal" and "Raquel" without corresponding excise stamps and shipping documents. The vehicle and the goods were delivered to representatives of the National Police.
