In Transcarpathia, border guards found a car stolen in Slovakia

In Transcarpathia, border guards found a car, which was on the international wanted list.

Yesterday, a car "Opel" with the Slovak registration driven by a Ukrainian citizen arrived at the checkpoint "Maly Berezny" to leave from Ukraine. During the implementation of the border control measures, border guards of the Chop detachment found out that the car was listed in the international Interpol database. As it turned out, this vehicle was stolen in Slovakia.

The Interpol office in Kyiv was informed about this. The seized car was handed over to officers of the National Police.

In total, since the start of the use of the Interpol database by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, 200 stolen cars and more than 3.2 thousand people on the international wanted list have been found.
