In Transcarpathia, border guards detained illegal immigrants who offered a thousand dollars for letting them cross the border (VIDEO)

Last night, in Transcarpathia, border guards detected and apprehended two groups of illegal immigrants who were trying to illegally cross the border of Ukraine with the EU.

Border patrol of the department "Kosyno" of the Mukachevo Detachment consisting of conscript soldiers detained two undocumented offenders 50 meters from the border. They said that they had come from Bangladesh. In addition, during the conversation, one of the detainees offered border guards illegal benefit in the amount of $ 1,000 for not creating obstacles in the further illegal traveling. The soldiers refused to take the bribe, and the detainees were taken to the Department of Border Guard Service "Kosyno." The fact of offering illegal benefit was reported to the National Police as a criminal offense under Article 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Offer, promise or giving of an undue benefit to an officer".

Also, yesterday, border guards of the aforementioned department detained and took to the unit 3 travelers from Guinea, Ivory Coast and Cameroon. Two of them had no documents, one had a permit that gave him the right to temporarily stay in Ukraine.

According to the travelers, they were were planning to enter the EU Member States in search of a better life.
