A citizen of the Republic of Belarus driving a car 2005 "BMW X3" was heading from Poland to Belarus through the customs post "Dyakove" of the Chop customs.
As a basis for moving the car across the customs border of Ukraine, the Belarussian submitted to the customs authority a certificate of registration for the vehicle. During the customs control, inspectors had doubts about the authenticity of the certificate of registration for the vehicle. In this regard, the experts decided to send it for examination.
According to the expert, the form of the certificate of registration for the vehicle was made in a manner that does not comply with the legal requirements for manufacture of such documents.
Thus, the Belarusian presented to the supervisory authority documents containing false information. These actions have signs of violation of customs regulations referred to in Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.
The direct objects of violation – the vehicle – was confiscated in accordance with Art. 511 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.
