In Transcarpathia, a woman died while burning dry vegetation

If there are still people who believe that burning of dry vegetation is beneficial and does not pose any threat, we would like to report that today one of such fires resulted in the death of an 81-year-old woman and burn injuries for her son. 
The SES of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region reported that in the village of Vyshovaty, Tyachiv district, an old woman was burning dry vegetation and debris in a grove near the garden. However, after a while the fire became much bigger, which greatly alarmed other residents of the household. So they called the rescuers and went to see what had happened. At the scene of the fire, relatives found the body of the pensioner unfortunately without signs of life. 
Before the arrival of firefighters, the villagers tried to put out the fire on their own, but it did not produce the desired result. In addition, the son of the deceased suffered II degree burns of the lower extremity and was subsequently hospitalized in the district hospital. After the examination and medical care, the man was sent for outpatient treatment. 
The fire was eliminated in 2.5 hours by local fire crews from the village of Neresnytsia. Transcarpathian rescuers once again warn citizens against burning dry vegetation, because it does not bring any benefit, but only leads to disasters and harm!
