On Tuesday, February 5th in Uzhgorod, Ukrainian writer Volodymyr Shovkoshytny presents a unique dilogy "Blood is sacred." The book is based on archival documents, documentary stories, covering periods of Holodomor, Ukrainian-Polish conflict and heroic activities of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army.
According to the author, the book consists of stories that the writer has either witnessed himself, or has been told by direct participants in those events – the "uniqueness" of the novel is that there are no fictional characters – only real people.
Together with the author, the book will be presented by its editor – poet, novelist, deputy chief editor of the "Literary Ukraine", the director of the publishing house "Ukrainian priority" – Stanislav Bondarenko.
The presentation of the book will take place in Uzhgorod, Mukachevo and Tyachiv.
In Uzhgorod, the presentation will be held February 5, 2013:
At 11:00 – at the Press Center "Transcarpathia" (Drugetiv st., 60);
At 13:30 – Volodymyr Shovkoshytny will meet with students and teachers of the Uzhgorod secondary school № 2;
At 17:00 – the author will present the book in the Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library.
