In Transcarpathia, a storm warning has been announced

The Transcarpathian Regional Center for Hydrometeorology has announced a storm warning due to expected heavy rainfall.

They inform the following. During the day of August 7, heavy rains, sometimes heavy showers, thunderstorms are expected in Transcarpathian region, and in some settlements – hailstones. During thunderstorms, squally wind up to 15-20m / s, sometimes gusts of wind up to 25-28 m / s are forecasted. Decrease of the temperature by 7-10 °.

Also on August 7, increase in water levels by 0,3-1,5 meters is expected on the rivers of the region. In locations of heavy rainfall, significant local run-off will be formed, rapid increase in water levels in small watercourses in populated areas. The formation of mudflows is also possible.
