The solar power plant of the "FES-Tereblya" LLC in Tyachiv district started working at full capacity at the end of June. The facility worth more than EUR 10 million was built by the Helios Strategy LLC from the city of Dnipro.
The station was planned to be commissioned at the end of 2018, but due to technical nuances, it happened six months later. In order for the power plant to work at full capacity, at the expense of the investor, they did a complete reconstruction of the high-voltage power line to the village of the Ruske Pole and modernized the power substation in Dulovo, which provides uninterrupted power supply to the Tereblya Valley villages. According to the head of the enterprise Ivan Bokoch (pictured – right), the area of the power plant is 20 hectares. The capacity of the power plant is 10 mW. It only works during the day, in sunny weather. It consists of 44 thousand panels, five transformers, 198 invertors supplying electricity to the grid. The generated electricity is sold at the "green" tariff.
13 local residents are employed at the photoelectric power plant – manager, chief engineer, technicians, security guards. The company pays all taxes, including land rent. Tereblya village head Ruslan Yanchiy says that there used to be an illegal landfill on these lands in the "Verkhnye Pole" tract. At the beginning of the project implementation, the territory was cleared, and instead they built a facility that provides additional revenues to the village budget and created jobs. Last year, the investor already paid UAH 1.31 million contribution for infrastructure development. The positive impact is obvious, so the village community is pleased. Source.
