According to the information obtained by Uzhgorod.in from reliable sources, yesterday in Vynogradiv, officers of the Security Service of Ukraine arrested a leading specialist of Irshava and Vynogradiv district military commissariat while receiving a bribe of 16,000 UAH.
The bribe was given to the representative of the military commissariat for evading conscript service. The investigation is ongoing.
We have received the official information from the press group of the Security Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region:
"Officers of the Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region exposed an employee of Irshava and Vynogradiv Joint District Military Commissariat, who demanded and received from a local resident 16,250 of undue advantage for assistance in evading conscript service and receiving military card.
October 27, at one of the markets in Vynogradiv, the employee of the district military commissariat was detained "red-handed" while receiving the money.
The offender was notified of being suspected under Part 3 of Art.368 (acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of unlawful benefit by an official) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Pre-trial investigation is being conducted by military prosecutors of Uzhgorod garrison of the Western region" – the statement reads.
