In the village of Velyka Palad in Vynogradiv district, road builders have commenced the construction of a new modern road to the Ukrainian-Hungarian border, where a new international border crossing point "Valyka Palad – Nagyhodos" will be opened soon, the Mukachevo.net reports.
As noted, the road builders have already started construction works from the outskirts of Velyka Palad to the border with Hungary, the money was allocated from the state budget of Ukraine. This was reported by the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal.
In total, 11.2 kilometers of a modern road will be built, the works are performed by a Ukrainian company with Austrian capital that won the tender.
It is expected that by September 1 this year the road will have been completed, on the Hungarian side all the infrastructure is ready. Then Transcarpathia will have a new international border crossing point on the Ukrainian-Hungarian border.
