In Transcarpathia a man with a diamond hand was detained

In Mukachevo district the police arrested a 24-year-old man who had stolen from a private hotel owner a collection of diamonds and hidden them under the plaster on his hand. This was reported to UNIAN by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Angered with the quality of service in a hotel, the young man, after having raised a scandal, immediately left the hotel by taxi. However, the employees were surprised that the quest checked out with a bandaged hand, while at the check in it was unharmed.

As it turned out, under the bandages the would-be thief tried to sneak out gold jewelry with diamonds stolen by him from the owner of the hotel. The thief was soon detained at a nightclub.

Later the police found out that the man had been stealing since the age of 9 and had served 6 years sentence in prison.
