In Transcarpathia, a homemade vehicle with a couple rolled down the Mount Hemba

The investigative team of Mizhhirya police found out that a young couple riding to the place of a photo shoot in a homemade vehicle fell from the mountain Hemba.

Residents of Lviv, going to the photoshoot before their wedding, used the services of a 43-year-old driver, a resident of the village of Pylypets in Mizhhirya district, and got into an accident. The man’s homemade vehicle slid off the dirt road near the chair lift station and fell from a height of 200 meters.

The driver of the vehicle failed to provide a certificate of vehicle registration to officers of Mizhhirya police. He assured that he would bring it later, but as of now has not done it.  

As a result of the accident, all passengers sufferred head injuries and abrasions. The 25-year-old woman was diagnosed with a fracture of the first lumbar vertebra and lacerations. The victim, according to the investigative team, was going to have a photo with her fiance taken at sunset before the wedding.

The driver of the car, that got in the accident, explained that he had lost control. The police is considering possible malfunction of the car and difficult stretch of the road as probable causes of the accident. The investigation continues.
