A 29-year-old director of a private company from the village of Klyachanovo in Mukachevo district reported to the police that a Chop Customs officers was demanding from him an unlawful benefit in the amount of 650 euros for not creating obstacles during the customs clearance of a telehandler (excavator), 1996 model year.
Yesterday, at 17.57, at a gas station in Uzhgorod, the police arrested the 27-year-old senior inspector of the Chop customs, rank 7 category 6 civil servant, resident of Uzhgorod, who had received from the entrepreneur the unlawful benefit in the amount of 650 euros. The money in the amount of 650 euros was confiscated. The bribe-taker was detained.
