According to Viktor Ivanus, the body of the customs officer Vasyl Yankovsky without signs of life was found in his apartment by his relatives last night on April 6.

– For many years he worked at the customs and units for counteracting smuggling and violation of customs rules, – the head of the Transcarpathian customs added.

Currently, according to the procedure, the incident is classified under Part 1 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code, ie premeditated murder, but the ultimate cause of death of the man will be determined by forensic examination.
