Yesterday, border guards of the Chop detachment together with customs officers found two old books of past centuries at the checkpoint "Tisa".
A citizen of Moldova driving a minibus "Renault" tried to export from Ukraine the books that might have cultural and historical value. However, during border and customs control, they were found in the luggage compartment. Two books in German "Das Evangelium Johannes" published in 1927 and "Predigten" published in 1877 were seized.
The report of administrative violation over this fact was drawn up. The books were sent for examination to establish their value.
