In Transcarpathia, 500 hectares of farmland is flooded

During the last day, January 11-12, heavy, in some places very heavy rains continued in the region. In the upper reaches of the rivers and in the eastern part of the region, 30-65 mm, in other districts – 4-25 mm of rain fell. At present, the intensity of rains has dropped, maximum water levels began to form on the rivers.

Currently, in Irshava district, on the territory of Vilkhivka village council (the Borzhavka river), 170 hectares of farmland is flooded, in the village of Kamyanske (the Irshavka river) – 150 hectares of farmland, in the village of Siltse (the Irshavka river) – 15 hectares.

In Vynogradiv district, where the Borzhava river runs, about 200 hectares of pastures and the road Komyaty-Shalanky in the interval of 100 m was flooded. The traffic on the road is free.
