The exhibition dedicated to the Day of St. Valentine was presented on the eve of February 13, in the "Uzhgorod" gallery. It features several dozen works by about 30 artists. Those are paintings by members of the Transcarpathian organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
Among them, there are three Honored Artists: Taras Usyk, Vlad Gabda and Ivan Didyk. Vasyl Vovchok, Yuriy Moshak, Victor Andrianov, Tetyana Sopilnyak, Ivan Zhupan, Taras Usyk, Petro Sholtes, Olena Kondratyuk. Oleksandr Hromovy, Yuriy Shelevytsky, Yuriy Bodnar, Yulia Egorova-Rogova, Volodymyr Pavlyshyn, Mykola Shete, Victoria Kuzma, and Miroslava Rosul also presented their works. And the Youth Association at the Union is represented by paintings of Yulia Ukrainets, Anatoly Lakatos, Yaroslav Dulenko, Angelina Hafynets, Oleksiy Fedor, Vasyl Kohutych.
The exhibition was opened by the chairman of the Transcarpathian organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine Boris Kuzma, the director of the gallery Mykola Shete, artist Vlad Gabda. The chairman of the painting section of the Transcarpathian organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine Vasyl Vovchok aptly remarked that after the cold winter, the arrival of spring can already been felt in the gallery: bright colors, flowers, warmth, even "young women bare all." "We have done our job, now it’s up to the audience – V.Vovchok added. – Let them see and enjoy."
