In Svalyava, another tie-in in the “Druzhba” was found

Yesterday morning, officers of the Regional Security Service of Ukraine were informed that in the field near the village of Holubyne in Slalyava district, there may be illegal interference with the operation of the oil pipeline "Druzhba", owned by the "UkrTransNafta" JSC.

The investigative team, that arrived at the scene, found out that in the field between settlements of Suskovo and Holubyne in Slalyava region, workers of the "UkrTransNafta" JSC, during excavation at a depth of 1.5 m, had detected an unauthorized old tie-in in the pipeline "Druzhba": a built-in valve with a diameter of 32 mm in the pipeline and a 300 meters long rubber high pressure hose with a diameter of 13 mm connected to it.

No oil leak was detected, there is no threat to the environment.
