In Svalyava, a man drowned in the river

Yesterday, June 22, a 68-year-old man drowned in the Latorytsya river in Svalyava.

This was reported by the State Emergencies Service Office in Transcarpathian region.

"On June 22, at 20:29, the operational center was reported about a possible drowning of a 68-year resident of Svalyava in the Latorytsya river. The tragedy occurred in the city of Svalyava (near Donsky street).

At 21:30, the body of the drowned man was found and removed from the water by a crew of 9th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Svayiava and handed over to law enforcement officers. The cause of death is under investigation."
