Today, June 8, maintenance work for cleaning, washing and chlorination of two 1500 m3 drinking water tanks is being performed at the pump-filtration station II in Uzhgorod. The work is being performed as part of the preparation for the autumn-winter period of 2016-2017, Uzhgorod city council informs.
According to the administration of the water utility, for the period of work performance, water supply pressure of this pump-filtration plant will be reduced. At the same time, water supply pressure of the "Mynai" intake will be increased, which will largely compensate for the reduced pressure at the PFS-II. However, shortages of water supply during the work performance are still possible in Radvanka and Promzona neighbourhoods, Gagarin, Krasnodontsi, Lavrischev, Mukachivska, Ruska, Odeska, Tykhy, Stantsiyna streets and the end of Svoboda Avenue (bus station).
The maintenance work is planned to be completed on June 8-9.
The company administration apologizes for the inconvenience.
