September 8 at 03:00, by yet unidentified reason, at the station number 2 in Solotvino of Tyachiv district there was fire in the engine compartment of the locomotive of the passenger train Batyevo-Korolevo-Solotvino.
At 3:15 the fire was localized, and at 4:40 – completely eliminated. Material damage and the cause of fire is under investigation. The fire damaged the engine compartment of the locomotive. There were no victims – the Office of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region reported.
