In six months, more than 3 million hryvnias was collected from violators of customs rules

During the first half of 2020, the Transcarpathian Customs of the State Customs Service considered 158 cases of customs rules violations and decided to impose an administrative penalty in the form of a fine in 149 cases. 
The amount of fines imposed is UAH 1,373,508, UAH 3,353,543 was collected (including the fines imposed in previous years). During this period, 733 cases for a total amount of UAH 93,435,851 were submitted to the court. Court decisions were received in 352 cases of customs rules violations in the amount of UAH 41,961,997, including: 
– confiscation was imposed in 323 cases in the amount of UAH 30,467,638; 
– confiscation was not imposed in 2 cases in the amount of UAH 100,962; 
– the court imposed fines in 544 cases in the amount of UAH 31,484,595; 
– fines were collected according to court rulings in the amount of UAH 2,772,022; 
– proceedings on 27 cases in the amount of UAH 11,393,397 were closed.
