On September 10, Cabinet of Ministers intends to discuss the situation with the prices of gasoline. Experts have said that the rise can not be avoided.
For the first time in the last two months on the Ukrainian gas stations gasoline price has risen on average by 9-11 kopiykas, again exceeding 11 UAH per liter (A-95 in the capital cost 11.05). Experts say that there are prerequisites for further growth of price. Fortunately, not very significant.
"The world market prices in August rose by 10%. Cheap fuel reserves are exhausted, there are new purchases. In September, prices could rise by another 15-20 kopiykas" – said the director of A-95 consulting group Serhiy Kuyun. But according to director of the "Psycheya" center Serhiy Sapehin, the groth rate will be small, if any.
"It’s a penny a week. There is no massive growth in the country, – says Sapehin. – Recently rise in oil prices has been observed, but now the price has dropped. And operators are afraid to raise the price because the consumer is now very cranky, and price is the main indicator when making decisions."
"The meeting with the Minister Boiko is planned for Monday, where one of the issues is the price situation and the next steps to be taken," – said the head of the secretariat of the expert-analytical group of the Cabinet on the oil market Mykhailo Mindresku.
