Yesterday, at 19.55, in the village of Velyky Bychkiv in Rakhivdistrict, a car hit a pensioner. The driver fled the scene. Law enforcement officers found the offender. The unemployed resident of the village driving a car "BMW" lost control, hit a man, then fled the scene. The pedestrian suffered injuries in the form of a closed head injury, concussion, bruised right shoulder.
The vehicle was taken to the impound lot of Rakhiv District Police. The driver was sober, he admitted to having committed the crime, was questioned and released.
