On July 7, at 23:45, the operational-rescue service of Transcarpathia was reported that on a mountain tourist route (the Okoly pass, Rakhiv district), at night, a 41-year-old resident of Prague, Czech Republic had fallen from a bike, injured his leg and was unable to move.
Rescuers of the mountain search and rescue department of the village of Yasinya were immediately sent to help the tourist. The search and rescue operation was complicated due to dark time of the day, bad roads and mountainous terrain. At 3:30, on July 8, the foreigner was found. The victim was provided first aid and taken to the hospital in the village of Yasinya.
