In Rakhiv district, a father cut his own son

Officers of Rakhiv police department initiated criminal proceedings on charges of inflicting of stab wounds by a 62-year-old man to his own son.
 
About two in the morning, a 32-year-old man called Rakhiv district police department and said that he had been stabbed by his own father.
 
The investigative team was sent to the scene.  As the police found out, a quarrel regarding the inheritance of the father’s house arose between the father and the son, as result of which the man grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed his son. 
 
As the doctors established, the man inflicted a non-penetrating wound in the abdominal wall, the victim’s life is not in danger. However, he was left for treatment in the trauma department of Rakhiv district hospital.
 
This incident was registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations.
