Yesterday, a 68-year-old retiree reported to Rakhiv District Police that his household in Velyky Bychkiv had been robbed. At night, an unknown person entered into his barn and stole from there metal products (profiles, angles) thus causing material damage amounting to about 300 UAH.
As a result of the operational-search activities, the police offciers found out that the theft had been committed by a 32-year-old resident of the village, who confessed to the crime. Physical evidence was seized. No pre-trial restraint was imposed on the offender.
