On Sunday, January 18, in Poltava, there was the funeral of a soldier of the 15th battalion (Uzhgorod) of the 128th brigade Dmytro Hrechko, who had been killed near Debaltseve on January 14, 2015 from numerous shrapnel wounds.
Hundreds Poltava residents came to the Holy Assumption Cathedral to pay homage to the hero.
The killed soldier, who would turn 45 in April, was survived by an ill mother and three nieces.
