The tragic accident occurred last night, in the village of Poroshkovo in Perechyn district. The driver of a bus "Bogdan" on the route Uzhgorod-T.Bystra hit a pedestrian. The victim died from his injuries. The driver himself reported the road accident to the police.
The victim is being identified. He looks 60-70 years old, slim built. He was dressed in a black jacket, black pants, dark brown shoes.
The driver’s blood sample was taken to determine alcohol content. The bus was placed on the impound lot of Perechyn police. An investigation over this incident has been initiated.
