In Perechyn, a wood drying chamber was burning

On November 14, at 08:16, the operational rescue service received a report of a fire in the territory of a limited liability company on Uzhanska street in the city of Perechyn. The fire started in a wood drying chamber.

Firefighters of the 1th state fire and rescue unit of the city of Perechyn were sent to eliminate the fire.   In total, two pieces of equipment and 7 personnel members were engaged.

At 09:44, the fire was contained on the area of ​​50 sq.m., the elimination lasted until 15:46.

The elimination process was difficult, because there was more than 30 cubic meters of wood in the drying chamber. 

The material damage is being established, as the fire destroyed the equipment of the drying chamber and 30 cubic meters of wood. Also, the building itself suffered damage. Law enforcement authorities are establishing the cause of the fire.
