The initiative group of Uzhgorodians have announced the intention to make a documentary about the "Kirpichka", about the people and their stories, associted with this project for the arrangement of a park in the regional center of Transcarpathia.
The initiators of the film appeal to everyone to report about the existence of photos from the 1940s-1990s in family archives, which show interesting moments in their personal lives, and the willingness to share their own stories.
The initiative is non-profit and being implemented jointly with cinematographers of the "Kirpichka" Civic Initiative.
As of today, the collection of signatures under the petition on the preservation and restoration of the park continues on the official site of the Uzhgorod City Council. Currently, in just a few days, 110 Uzhgorod residents have already signed the petition. 250 signatures are required for the issue to be considered at the session of the City Council,.
On November 9, a session of the City Council will take place, where the extension of the lease agreement for this territory will be considered. The agreement expires in December of this year.
