During 20 days of October, the Transcarpathian customs office transferred to the budget UAH 152.5 million of customs duties. Compared to the same period in the last year, transfers to the budget increased by 10.6% or UAH 14.6 million.
The growth of total amount of accrued and paid taxes is attributed to the increase in revenues from customs clearance: of cars (automated data processing) – 9,490,000 UAH; bodies – 8,080,000 UAH; telephones – 5,130,000 UUAH; parts and units of motor vehicles – 4,950,000 UAH; refrigerators, freezers – 3,930,000 UAH; rolled flat – 3,740,000 UAH; oscilloscopes – 3,650,000 UAH; paper and cardboard – 3,530,000 UAH; polymers of ethylene – 3,220,000 UAH and plastic products – 3,160,000 UAH.
– We expect further translational motion of the customs legislation of Ukraine to the European standards, which will minimize the impact of the "human factor" in the process of customs clearance. This, I believe, will allow to consistently provide revenues to the state budget of Ukraine, – Volodymyr Kolesnikov, the head of the Transcarpathian customs said and added – understanding and dialogue with business also must bring positive result, so we can expect a civilized competitive market, attraction of foreign investment into Ukraine, creation of new jobs and an increase of tax revenues in general.
