Students of dental faculty of UzhNU with their teachers organized real celebration for children of the boarding school in the village of Nyzhnya Bystra in Khust district. 130 pupils from 6 to 15 years old participated in an interactive theatrical performances and learned to brush their teeth. On stage Hygiene taught Dirt a lesson and showed kids how to care for the oral cavity. Each pupil has received toothpaste and brush, clothes, toys, sweets. The benefactors also brought paint for the repair of the institution.
"This the students’ initiative – says Oksana Klitynska, deputy dean in charge of teaching work of UzhNU Dental Faculty, Associate Professor of Pediatric Dentistry. – In early September, they turned to us with a request to help the children of the boarding school. In dental faculty building they placed a box, which people put money, clothes, toys in… Such event was held for the first time, but last year our student Oksana Krychun organized dance and poetry project "Rukhopys." The collected money from the charity concert were transferred to Nyzhnya Bystra boarding school."
Such voluntary measures are essential, because children miss many pleasures that can not be provided through the budget, which can not even ensure the most basic needs.
"Both children and students are happy – said Oksana Klitynska. – The best schoolchildren were invited to the dental faculty so the students told them about oral hygiene in more detail. We will continue to help Nyzhnya Bystra boarding school ."
