In Mukachevo, two girls were taken away from their alcoholic parents

The city authorities protected children from faulty parenting.
At the regular meeting of the executive committee of the Mukachevo City Council, it was decided to immediately take children from parents who had been abusing alcohol and neglecting their parental responsibilities for a long time. Children – two girls aged 16 and 12 – were deprived of proper living, nursing and nutrition conditions. To provide herself and her sister with the essentials, the older child had to work.

According to the decision, the girls will temporarily stay in a family of people who reported about them to the children’s service of the executive committee of the Mukachevo City Council.

The parents of the children were brought to administrative responsibility. Their case will be considered in court.
