In Mukachevo, the city authorities intend to compensate city transportation expenses

The draft decision was published in the list for consideration by the City Council session on June 27 of the current year. 

It concerns the approval of the program “Financing the cost of compensation payments for the preferential transportation of certain categories of citizens by city buses of general use and on reimbursment of compensation payments for the communication monthly fee for preferential categories of citizens in the city of Mukachevo" for the years 2019-2020. 

As noted in the document, according to the Program passport, the total amount of financial resources is 24 million hryvnias, which are going to be allocated from the city budget. 

The initiator and the developer of this program is the Labor and Social Welfare Department of the Executive Committee of Mukachevo city council. The department is also the chiief controller of the funds and the executive manager. The term and stages of the program: Stage I – 2019 (12,000,000 UAH). And the second stage – 2020 (12,000,000 UAH.) 

If this decision adopted, the procedure for financing compensation payments for free transportation of certain categories of citizens and for preferential communication will be carried out on the basis of a contract concluded between the service provider and the labor and social welfare department of the executive committee of the Mukachevo city council. 

At the same time, the labor and social welfare department, permanent deputy commission on budget and socio-economic development, and permanent deputy commission on health, social protection and ecology will ensure coordination and control over the implementation of the Program.
