In Mukachevo, social art workshops will be opened for people with disabilities

In Mukachevo, social workshops will be opened at the expense of the city budget.  To this end, the City Council today approved the program of financial support for Mukachevo Centre for social and psychological adaptation, physical and vocational rehabilitation of people with disabilities "Alternative".

10 social workshops and a gym for social and labor rehabilitation of adults with disabilities will be equipped on Vasyl Stus street.

In particular, during the years 2017-2018, the following workshops will be opened:

1. Beadwork, paintings of natural stones, embroidery (jewelry, interior souvenirs (bonsai, flowers), icons, pictures, towels, shirts).
2. Scrapbooking, quilling, decoupage (handmade greeting cards, gift bottles, notebooks, photo albums).
3. Woodwork (carving, burning) – souvenirs made of wood, clocks.
4. Fine Art (paintings).
5. Cardboard products (gift boxes).
6. Modeling with polymer clay (jewelry, beads, magnets, candlesticks).
7. Pottery (jugs, cups, flatware).
8. Printing workshop (leaflets, posters, billboards).
9. Sewing and weaving workshop.
10. Making of candles.
11. Gym.

The financing will be provided at the requests of community organizations that work on the establishment of social workshops.
