In Mukachevo, primary school students will have meals for free

This year, Mukachevo primary school students will have meals for free. The funds for this purpose are allocated from the city treasury.

"The amendments to the legislation do not provide for free meals for pupils of first-fourth grades. However, the city administration has decided to continue to provide primary-level students with free lunch. The city council has allocated more than 8 million hryvnia for this purpose.

Also, 267,000 UAH has been allocated to pay for meals for privileged pupils of 5-11 grades. Last year we increased the cost of meals – from 6 to 12 hryvnia, so that students get diverse food" – the head of the education department of the city executive committee Katerina Kryshinets-Andyaloshiy said.
