In Mukachevo, over UAH 3 million was allocated for additional social and medical protection of townspeople

Late last year, the city deputies of Mukachevo approved the program "Additional social and medical protection of residents of Mukachevo" for 2016. The funds allocated for it are the funds of the community.
As of mid-April, the program has been funded at nearly UAH 3 million 400 thousand, including:

– 194 people received nearly UAH 2 million 380 thousand for expensive treatment, and 58 persons were treated for cataracts at UAH 551 thousand;

– 90 citizens, who have found themselves in difficult circumstances, the consequences of which they can not overcome on their own, received over UAH 205 thousand;

– 171 I and II groups disabled and disabled people who were registered for the first time or whose state of health has deteriorated during the year, received over UAH 51 thousand;

– 13 needy residents of Mukachevo received UAH 13 thousand for the purchase and installation of gas meters;

– 4 elderly people received UAH 2,5 thousand on the occasion of anniversaries (85, 90, 95, 100 or more years).

Orphans; residents of Mukachevo, who have been serving in the ATO area during the current year, or a member of their family; citizens, who have been released from prison this year and are in a difficult financial situation, also received assistance.
