Fountains have started playing in Mukachevo. Preparatory work started early in the week,the Mukachevo city council informs. And since Friday they have been delighting residents and visitors of the city.
Employees of public utilities plan to restore music accompaniment of the fountain on the Heroyiv Maidanu Square.
One can only congratulate residents of Mukachevo on this event. After all, in ancient times people attributed to water magical ability to return youth and strength and even to raise the dead. City fountains bring us a portion of this truly magic power of water to urban environment. They delight us with coolness, play of their crystal streams, reflections of the sun in every drop of water, splashing and murmuring, a sense of freshness and purity. Thus, fountains are beneficial to a person’s mental state, ensuring psychological health of citizens. Fountains, finally, reduce the amount of dust in the air, increase humidity and air ionization, maintaining microclimate of surrounding areas, preventing the emergence of a number of respiratory diseases. Fountains, therefore, are an important part of measures to create a comfortable, environmentally friendly urban environment.
