Officers of the Mukachevo district police department detained a 29-year-old resident of the village of Velyki Luchky, who is suspected of causing fatal bodily injuries to his sister.
Yesterday, June 26, the police received a report that a 32-year-old resident of the village of Velyki Luchky in Mukachevo district had been found dead.
The investigation team arrived at the scene. During the body examination, bodily injuries were found.
The results of the forensic medical examination showed that the death was caused by severe bodily harm.
During the investigation, the police found that the injuries had been inflicted to the victim by her 29-year-old brother, who lives with her. A quarrel arose between them, during which the man grabbed a stick and beat his older sister.
The man was arrested. Currently, the issue of notifying him of being suspected of having committed the said crime and imposing a pretrial restraint in the form of detention is being decided.
The incident was registered in the URPI. The man is charged with an offense provided for in Part 2 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, that is, intentional grave bodily harm that caused the death of the victim. The investigation continues.
