On November 3, at 02:20, the rescue service received a report of a fire in the village of Stanovo in Mukachevo district.
The house of a 54-year-old local resident was burning. The owner of the house noticed the fire in the middle of the night. By that time, the fire had already passed the initial stage and was quickly spreading throughout the entire house. Wasting no time, the owner woke up his thirteen-year-old daughter. Since the exit from the house was blocked by the fire, he evacuated the girl through the window. Then, he started fighting the fire using a fire extinguisher.
After his effort failed, the man called the rescuers.
Firefighters of the 18th and 19th state fire and rescue units of the city of Mukachevo were sent to liquidate the fire. In total, two pieces of equipment and 6 personnel members were engaged.
Upon the arrival of the fire units, the fire had already engulfed the wooden house entirely. There was also a threat of spreading to a nearby summer kitchen and 1.5 cubic meters of boards stored next to the house.
At 03:25, the fire was contained, but its liquidation lasted until 04:20.
The material damage is to be established. The fire completely destroyed the house and the property that was inside.
The building of the summer kitchen was saved from the fire.
The cause of the fire is being established by the police.
