Yesterday, June 6, according to a court order, policemen searched the property of a 23-year-old resident of the village of Velyki Luchky in Mukachevo district. During the investigative actions in the household, law enforcement officers found 99 stems of hemp in plastic pots.
In addition, the police found ammunition in the garage.
Two criminal proceedings over the offense were opened under Part 2 of Article 310 (Cultivation of poppy or hemp) and Part 1 of Article 253 (Illegal handling of weapons, ammunition) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The man has been notified of being suspected of a crime, the choice of pre-trial restraint is being decided.
