337,000 UAH was allocated for the city program of compensation for transportation of certain categories by motor transport on city public bus routes at reduced fare and for compensation for benefits on telephony monthly fee for privileged categories of citizens of Mukachevo.
This year, subvention for fare reductions from the state budget has not been allocated. The situation needed urgent settlement, as residents of the city actually have been denied the right to fare reductions due to lack of financial resources, and carriers have been suffering financial loss.
Currently, the situation has been resolved through the funds allocated from the city budget. However, the city council adopted an appeal to the leadership of the state demanding to provide for subventions from the state budget to address the issue of preferential fare.
