In Mukachevo, an apartment was burning

In the evening, February 14, a fire occurred in Mukachevo on Furmanov Street. The fire originated on the balcony of one of the apartments in a five-storey building.

Neighbors of the apartment owner noticed the fire and at 17:24 called the rescue service.

Officers of the 17th and 18th state fire and rescue units arrived to fight the fire. First of all, rescuers evacuated the 65-year-old owner of the apartment from the room into the corridor. At 17:40, firefighters localized the fire, and at 17:45 completely extinguished it.

The cause of fire is to be established by law enforcement officers. The damage caused by the fire is being determined, as the flames destroyed the apartment window and household items that were on the balcony and smoked the walls and the ceiling.
