In Mukachevo, a woman was selling methamphetamine and marijuana (PHOTOS)

The woman lives in one of the largest neighborhoods of the city – Rosvyhovo. Every day, she was visited by drug addicts and all that was going on in front of minor children 
According to the Communications Department of the Transcarpathian regional police, yesterday, May 13, in Mukachevo, the neighborhood of Rosvyhovo, the police caught a drug dealer. It was found out that in her apartment, which is located on Hoyda Boulevard, the woman was selling amphetamine and marijuana. 
“Drug-addicted clients regularly visited the apartment where minors live together with the drug dealer. In the course of documenting the criminal activity of the defendant, evidence for an authorized search was gathered,” – the statement reads. 
The police say that in the apartment of the 56-year-old woman from Mukachevo, Irshava investigators seized a large amount of methamphetamine and marijuana. The drugs were packaged in bags prepared for sale. 
Also, at the scene, they found scales for weighing drugs and cash in national and foreign currency obtained as a result of criminal activities. 
All the found items were seized and sent for examination. 
“Criminal proceedings have been instituted under Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, ie possession of drugs for sale. 
As of now, the case is under pre-trial investigation, during which all the circumstances of the illegal activity will be found out. The indictment and choice of pre-trial restraint against the woman is being decided,” – the police informed.
