In Mukachevo, a woman was arrested for pimping

Recently the Criminal Ivestigation Sector of Mukachevo City Police Department received the information that a 37-year-old woman had organized a mini-brothel in the basement of a private house, located in a populated residential area of ​​the city. In a specially equipped room for visitors, her 21-year-old friend provided sexual services to clients for payment.

– This statement was registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigation, the investigator opened a criminal case over this fact under Part 2 of Article 302 (creating or running brothels and pimping) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – the Acting Chief of the Criminal Investigation Sector of Mukachevo City Police Department Major Vasyl Trompak said.

As the suspect told later, she had met the orphan girl long ago, when the latter was studying in a boarding school. The woman, who is officially unemployed, admitted that she occasionally moonlights as a prostitute, offering her services on the railway or bus station in Mukachevo and in the rest of the region. Recently, when she met the young girl, she came up with a plan to look for clients for her. The 21-year-old girl agreed to the proposal of the older "mentor" in exchange for free housing, food and clothing.

This went on until the investigators caught the pimp. 

Now, the investigator of the city police Oksana Kozachenko says, the woman faces restriction or deprivation of liberty for a term of up to five years on the grounds of the article of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – Nataliya Mashiko, Mukachevo City Police Department informed.
